Andy Lipkis, founder of Tree People visited SCGC in September and shared his inspiring life's work with us.

Tree People Cistern

Tree People created a 220,000 gallon rainwater cistern to match the amount of water a Valley or Coast Live oak can hold. The cistern has become a vital resource with the diminishing numbers of such trees.
